Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor 'singled out' for coveted role of 007's nemesis. Is he the next Bond baddie?

He recently bulked up to star as a cop in director John Hillcoat's drama Triple Nine.
And Chiwetel Ejiofor six-pack and rippling pecs might have attracted the attention of producers looking to cast the new James Bond villain.
The 12 Years A Slave star is reportedly the first choice to play 007's adversary in the 24th instalment of Sony and MGM’s long-running action franchise.
Looking buff: Chiwetel Ejiofor is being lined up as the villain in the next James Bond movie, according to Variety
Producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson want the Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated
actor but have yet to make a formal offer, according to showbusiness bible Variety on Friday.
The movie is due for release on November 6, 2015, with filming set to kick off in the summer.
That might be a problem for the busy 36-year-old Brit who is currently filming Z For Zachariah, with Chris Pine and Margot Robbie, and is getting ready for Triple Nine.
Daniel Craig has already signed on to return as Bond for the upcoming movie and the 25th iteration.

Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw are expected to reprise their roles of bureau boss M, his secretary Moneypenny and boffin Q.
The producers are still casting the famous Bond Girls but Variety reported that they are looking for one Scandinavian and one British beauty.
He's really, really bad: Javier Bardem played the sinister Silva opposite Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall in 2012
