Manchester United star Michael Carrick's WIFE insults Roy Keane on Twitter after he attacked her husband's performance in Champions League match

Manchester United footballer Michael Carrick’s wife labelled the club’s ex-captain Roy Keane a ‘****’ last night after he criticised her husband.
Lisa Carrick insulted the ITV pundit on Twitter on Tuesday night after he singled out Mr Carrick for criticism following his side’s 2-0 defeat to Olympiacos in Greece.
After Mr Keane described the team’s performance  – and Mr Carrick’s subsequent interview for ITV – as ‘flat’, she wrote: 'Roy Keane what a **** says anything to provoke a reaction .. That's all .. Done ...'

Lisa Carrick posted this tweet after Roy Keane criticised her husband, Michael, on ITV last night
She then took down the tweet promptly, adding: 'Deleted my tweet .. Emotions got the better of me .. Just disappointed.'

But the original tweet was saved by user @8629Fissile, who said: '@LisaJCarrick it's okay people saved it.'

When Mr Keane was asked what he wanted Mr Carrick to say in his interview by presenter Adrian Chiles, he said: ‘I want him to say something.
'Say a bit more  - a bit more urgency in his interview - it just reflected United's performance tonight - flat, no urgency.
'They keep saying “oh well, next game, next game”, but for some of them there won't be another game. That’s the reality of it.’
In his interview Mr Carrick said: 'It's hugely disappointing but we feel like we're still in with a chance going back to Old Trafford'
